Madison Brydges "Maddie" born Madison Nicole Brydges, is an undeniable talent on the rise, a three time award winning actress who started performing onstage at the early age of 2. She is quickly becoming known for her captivating performances in film, TV and in the music industry. She just completed filming an episode on a new Netflix series that will air in April 2020 and her single "Walk the Walk" was released earlier this year. She also just completed filming 52 episodes of the Cirque du Soleil TV series, Big Top Academy, starring as April, that was filmed in Montreal, Q.C Just prior to filming Big Top Academy, Maddie completed filming the episode The Talking Dead as Agnes Swift for Murdoch Mysteries. Her performance as Agnes gained her a 2018 Young Entertainers Award nomination for Best Guest Starring Young Actress and a 2018 Joey Award nomination for Best Actress in a Guest Star Role in a Television Series. She was also seen on the big screen in September 2017 where she starred alongside Ellen Page as Tessa in Sony's thriller, FLATLINERS. Her performance as Tessa gained her a 2018 Young Entertainers Award nomination for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film, a 2018 Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film and a 2018 Joey Award Nomination for Best Actress in a Principle or Supporting Role in a Feature Film. She is also well known for her role as Jo, in Hallmark's Love You Like Christmas opposite Brennan Elliott and Bonnie Somerville. Maddie's theatre productions include Peter Pan (Scotiabank Theatre, 2010) and Numbers (Toronto Fringe Festival, 2012).Her lead role performance in Numbers earned this young talent her first Young Artist Awards Nomination for Best Performance in Live Theatre by a Young Actress. In addition to acting, Maddie is a multi award winning dancer in both Canada and the USA, receiving numerous accolades in the dance industry. Earning multiple awards and scholarships, her talent has taken her to Disneyworld's Christmas Spectacular in Orlando Florida, Disney's The Lion King in New York City, Disney's Summer Stage Show in Disneyland, USA and Disneyland's Showtime at Hollywood Studios, CA. She attended Canada's National Ballet for 3 years and performed in their annual production of The Nutcracker. Born in Guelph, Ontario she was immersed in creativity from a very young age beginning her career with commercials in Polly Pocket and Nissan. She continues to study in dance, acting and singing.
