Sophia Reid-Gantzert

Sophia recently wrapped Season 1 of the new Netflix series The Baby-Sitters Club, playing Karen Brewer, opposite Alicia Silverstone and Mark Fuerstein. She played the lead role in Hallmark's Easter Under Wraps opposite Fiona Gubelmann and Brendan Penny. In additional to her movie roles, television credits include ABC's Once Upon a Time. Her work has been acknowledged with a best young actor nomination for her role in Hearts and Minds.Sophia made it thru four rounds of call backs for the live Theatre performance of School of Rock in the UK and was the youngest participant. She did not make the final cut this year, but organizers have asked her to please return next year as it was down to her age being so young! In addition to her acting career, Sophia is a talented ballerina. She has won gold medals at international ballet competitions in the USA, Austria, Canada and the UK for her classical ballet solos. In 2018 she received a full scholarship to train at a prestigious London Ballet academy where she now resides. In 2019 she became one of the youngest dancers ever to be accepted to the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet summer program. She was honored to be asked to perform for members of the House Of Lords, dancing alongside English National Ballet's soloist, Julia Conway.
