Katarina Launing

Katarina Launing was born in Sweden, and studied directing at the Norwegian Film School, graduating in 2000. She has since directed several short films and made her debut as a feature film director with the family adventure film Magic Silver, co-directed by Roar Uthaug. Kick It! is her second feature. Katarina Launing and Roar Uthaug met while attending the directing program at The Norwegian National Film School. Since graduating, Katarina has directed short films and TV. Roar has made commercials and the feature Cold Prey. Magic Silver is their first feature as a directing team. They are developing projects both individually and as a team.
