William Xifaras was born in raised in Massachusetts; primarily the city of New Bedford, and later Boston. The son of Beatrice Keshian of Medford, MA and Michael Xifaras of New Bedford, MA. He began film acting after his release from Massachusetts state prison system in 2005 (after having served 5 years for Intimidation). Bill spent many years learning through a variety of classes in acting, film, and scene study. Simultaneously he volunteered his time to talk to at-risk youth about the importance of education and goals. Principal roles include: 20th Century Fox's The Heat, Sony Pictures The Equalizer, Universals' Ted 2, Netflix's Wheelman, Hulu series Castle Rock, Caviar's Sound of Metal, Artina Films By the Gun, and Paramount Picture's Defending Jacob. Director's he's worked with include Morten Tyldum, Ben Affleck, Paul Feig, Antoine Fuqua, Seth MacFarlane, Jeremy Rush, Kevin Hooks, Darius Marder, James Mottern, and Richard Duque-Henao. Actor's he's worked with include: Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, John Hamm, Sandra Bullock, Harvey Keitel, Denzel Washington, Seth MacFarlane, Frank Grillo, Scott Glenn, and Riz Ahmed. Upon request, Bill donates his time talking to public schools, after-school groups, and social programs aimed at youth's in crisis. Causes such as child welfare, education, homelessness, and children in foster care, have been and continue to be, a priority for him.
