Julian Finch was born in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. He attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and has studied with renowned teachers such as Larry Moss and Sandra Seacat. He lives in Los Angeles where he is a working actor and independent film producer. He is a co-founder of the film production company Rhythm Visuals.
