Koyu Rankin

Born in 2007 in Vancouver, Canada, to a Scottish-Canadian father and Japanese mother, Koyu is bilingual in both Japanese and English. Koyu can be heard voicing the character of Atari Kobayashi in Wes Anderson's stop-motion animation film, "Isle of Dogs", which is Koyu's first role in a film. The film opened the 68th Berlin International Film Festival on February 15, 2018, which Koyu attended with Anderson and all the other amazing voice cast. Koyu attended the premiere in both the US and Japan and successfully completed the press junkets in both English and Japanese. Koyu's credits include a part in DC's Legends of Tomorrow, a local short film and a music video as well as a commercial for Toyota for the 2018 Winter Olympics. He enjoys playing soccer and drums and when not in school loves going to Japan.
