Sea Shimooka is an American actress born in San Francisco to a Japanese Hawaiian father and mother of French and English descent. Raised in the Bay Area, she started modeling at the age of 13 and became an accomplished athlete in high school playing both varsity and club volleyball across the U.S. Shortly after graduating from New York University Tisch with a B.F.A in Drama, Sea was chosen in a nationwide search for the ABC Talent Showcase where she received invaluable mentorship from ABC Studios. She then decided to continue her training under Charlie Sandlan at the Maggie Flanigan Conservatory. Whilst at school, she booked small roles in various independent short films before landing a leading role in the New York premiere of The Year of the Solar Eclipse (Teatro LATEA). Shortly after, she booked the pivotal role as the villainous half-sister to Oliver Queen, Emiko Queen, on Arrow (The CW). She now resides in Los Angeles.
