Julian Grey, age 14, can be seen most recently in Blumhouse's The Craft: Legacy (2020) as Abe, the youngest son of Adam (David Duchovny), and step-brother to Lily (Cailee Spaeny). Grey's first studio film, Searchlight Pictures family drama Downhill (2020) premiered at Sundance 2020. In the film, Grey portrays Finn, the fearless son of Pete (Will Ferrell) and Billie (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Directed by Academy Award-winners Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, the film was shot entirely on location in the Austrian Alps where Julian took every opportunity to ski both on and off set. Grey began acting at nine years old in his older brother's short films before pursuing acting professionally. His first television role was in an episode of Fox's Wayward Pines (2015), where he played the young, troubled son of Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo). A few months later he booked a recurring role on Netflix's limited series Godless (2017), the critically-acclaimed, gritty western written and directed by Scott Frank. In Godless, Grey portrays William McNue, son of the town sheriff (Scoot McNairy) and nephew of Mary Agnes (Merritt Wever). Executive produced by Steven Soderbergh and Casey Silver, along with Scott Frank, 'Godless' was named one of 2017's ten best shows by 'Vanity Fair' and 'The Washington Post.'
