Linda Bisesti

Bisesti graduated with an MFA in Acting from Boston University School for the Arts. She is a Designated Linklater Teacher trained by Kristin Linklater. She has extensive experience in performing Shakespeare and directing Shakespeare. She is the Artistic Director of the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, an AEA company in residence at Cal Poly, Pomona. She is the Head of Acting in the B.A. Theatre Arts program at California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly)-Pomona, where she also serves as a voice coach and director. She was on the faculty of California State University-Long Beach, teaching voice in the MFA program, and at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. She has been a guest lecturer/guest artist at the Gaiety School of Theatre (Dublin, Ireland), the American Shakespeare Center (Stanton, Virginia), the Actors Center (London), the Wellesley College Summer Theatre (Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts), among various others. She also coaches actors in Voice, Accent Reduction, Acting and graduate school auditions. Her acting credits consist of mostly feature film credits, which have been screened at the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival and AFI, the American Film Institute. Her theatre credits include roles at the Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, and Boston's Shear Madness (at the Charles Playhouse). Southern California credits include The Laguna Playhouse, Backstage West Award for Best Comic Performance and the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and Cal-Rep, among others.
