Elvire Emanuelle is an actress known for starring as Mo in the 2018 film, First Match (2018), produced by Netflix and written and directed by Olivia Newman. First Match premiered at South by Southwest 2018, being nominated for the Grand Jury Award and winning the Narrative Feature Audience Choice Award and the Luna Gamechanger Award. Elvire's debut performance impressed audiences with media noting her as a breakout actress and rising star. Elvire (pronounced ehl-veer) was raised by her Haitian parents and aunt in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her mother was a nurse and a performer as a local singer. Elvire was inspired by her mother and wanted to be a performer and actress and eventually began studying acting and performing in plays.
