Dietrich Siegl

Born 1954 in Vienna, Austria. Brought up in Germany and Switzerland. Both parents were actors -- Ingrid Burkhard and Hannes Siegl. Started his career 1974 at Landestheater Linz. 1980/81 Composer, Singer, Guitarplayer in anarcho-band "tsiegenfoot music" (LP "No Wave"). Moved back to Vienna in 1981, in order to play at theaters as Theater in der Josefstadt, Burgtheater, Volkstheater, Wiener Schauspielhaus. 1985-88 in Cologne, Germany in order to shoot 134 episodes of TV Series "Lindenstrasse" as "Stefan Nossek". From 2005 - 2018 he was regular cast member of german/austrian police series "Soko Donau" (aka Soko Wien) as Colonel Dirnberger. Father of a daughter. Lives in the countryside near Vienna.
